I have been to The Netherlands a few times. I have good friends, either Dutch or people who chose to live there. My impressions were always very nice, about country and people. But I didn’t expect to have so many folks interested in taking part in the kind of pics I make. It was a very nice surprise. The posts from those experiences started being published a few weeks ago. Here are some more pics from those very pleasant, freezing nights.

I met Tjuk and Xavier through a common friend who conducts some choirs in Amsterdam. I always try to watch a presentation or a rehearsal of one of his choirs when I’m there, and this time he mentioned my project to the singers of a gay choir. Some of the guys got interested, and there was barely time to photograph Tjuk and Xavier before coming back home.

These are the first pictures we made, before heading downstairs and outside to explore the park itself. More of that night is coming soon.

Eu já estive na Holanda algumas vezes. Tenho bons amigos, tanto holandeses, quanto de outros países que foram morar por lá. Minhas impressões sempre foram boas, em relação ao país e seus habitantes. Contudo, eu não esperava ter tantas pessoas interessadas em participar do tipo de foto que eu faço. Isso foi uma surpresa ótima. Os posts dessas experiências começaram a ser publicados algumas semanas atrás. Aqui estão mais umas fotos desses dias gelados e muito agradáveis.

Eu encontrei Tjuk e Xavier através de um amigo em comum que rege alguns corais em Amsterdã. Sempre tento assistir a alguma apresentação ou ensaio de um dos corais dele quando estou por lá, e dessa vez ele mencionou meu projeto aos cantores de um coral gay. Alguns dos rapazes ficaram interessados, e mal houve tempo de fotografar Tjuk e Xavier antes de voltar pra casa.
