O “meu” jogo tem a ver com fazer contato com estranhos, geralmente através de aplicativos, e convencê-los a se abrirem e revelarem todo tipo de aspectos íntimos através de uma série de conversas. Dessas conversas, e do que eu enxergo nas pessoas através delas, saem as idéias que vão se converter em imagens.

Em todos esses anos, pela primeira, vez alguém me convenceu a virar o jogo e se dispoôs a colocar-se na posição de objeto moldável ao que aflorasse em mim nas conversas que tivéssemos dali em diante. Surgem então as dificuldades, tanto da parte em assumir uma postura totalmente moldável, o que beira o impossível, quanto de minha parte, em deixar aflorar e analisar todo o material que passou a ser revirado em nossas conversas.

Apesar disso, e da impossibilidade de colocar em prática a maior parte das idéias que surgiram devido ao período curto em que pudemos trabalhar, a experiência foi muito gratificante e já tenho uma lista cada vez maior de imagens pra um eventual encontro futuro.

From those conversations and from what I see in people along these chats, come the ideas that will be turned into images.

In all these years, for the first time, someone convinced me to turn the game around and volunteered to place himself in the role of a pliable material to whatever might surface in me from the chats we had. Enter the difficulties, both in someone being able to actually assume a totally malleable posture, which is close to impossible, as, in my part, in letting surface and analysing all the material that started to be rummaged in our conversations.

Despite all that, and the impossibility in putting in practice most of the ideas that came up, due to the short time we had to work together, the experience was a very gratifying one, and I already have an ever growing list of images for some future meeting.
