Há pouco tempo eu soube, por um amigo, da exposição organizada pelo João GG no banheiro de um casarão no Pacaembu, em São Paulo. Intervindo no espaço, principalmente com a colocação de luzes coloridas, e de uma trilha sonora especial, João preparou o local pra receber uma série de obras que completaram o ambiente. A while ago I heard of an exhibit assembled by João GG in the bathroom of an old house in the Pacaembu district of Sao Paulo. His intervention, mainly by the placing of coloured lights and adding a special soundtrack, rendered the site fit for receiving some works of art. It was named “Banheirão” (both the augmentative for bathroom, and Brazilian slang for toilet cruising in gay culture). Seeing it was all it took to make me want to go there and have some photos made.
