Coincidences are great, and are responsible for very good moments lived in this proiject.

The latest was to have Luiz, with whom I had been chatting for a while, to be in Berlin while I went there for my vacations, a few months ago.

We finally met in person and, from our chats, a nice place for his photos would be my beloved brewery in former East Berlin. I was planning to go there with some other friends, so we all jumped in our trains, met near the entrance point available that week, and waited for sunset to get inside the huge complex by the Spree.

Unfortunately there were just a couple hours between sunset and the last train back to our places, so we had time to explore just one section of the structures. And it keeps surprising and amazing me more and more as I get to know it.

Going to the Brewery ruins became an imperative if being in Berlin. Hopefully it will be standing next time I go there.


Coincidências são ótimas e são responsáveis por bons momentos vividos nesse projeto.

A última foi ter Luiz, com quem eu vinha conversando há um tempo, em Berlim enquanto eu tava lá nas últimas férias, há uns meses.

A gente finalmente se conheceu e, do que conversamos, um bom lugar pras fotos dele seria minha amada cervejaria na antiga Berlim Oriental. E tinha planos de ir por lá com uns amigos, então todos pegamos nossos trens, nos encontramos perto do ponto de entrada disponível naquela semana, e esperamos escurecer pra entrar no complexo imenso nas margens do rio Spree.
Infelizmente tivemos somente umas duas horas entre o pôr do sol e o último trem de volta, então só houve tempo pra explorar uma seção das estruturas. E a cervejaria continua me surpreendendo e fascinando mais e mais a cada parte que visito.

Ir à cervejaria acabou virando um imperativo ao estar em Berlim. Espero que ela esteja de pé na próxima vez que tiver por lá.
